Progressive organisations continue to draw attention to inequality in Australia’s society. Per Capita,a leading left of centre think tank in Victoria, has undertaken research to measure how the policy decisions entrenching inequality area affecting the economy. What is it costing all citizens to privilege a few?

Emma Dawson, Executive Director Per Capita

Emma has worked as a senior advisor on Digital Inclusion at Telstra, Executive Director of the Institute for a Broadband Enabled Society at the University of Melbourne, and was a senior policy advisor in the Rudd and Gillard governments. She has published widely and is a frequent contributor to national media. Emma holds a BA with First Class Honours from University of Melbourne and an MA with Distinction from Monash.
